We are hiring a seasoned IT consultant who can be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of security solutions for enterprise clients. Day-to-day, the Senior Security Consultant must do the following:
- Work independently and / or as a part of a Blue Chip project team
- Lead small Blue Chip project teams
- Participate in client whiteboards and discussions
- Review ROMs and SOWs
- Manage scope and scope change in a client project
- Summarize / document client project requirements
- Lead and / or contribute to technical design sessions
- Prepare technical design documentation and task-level project plans
- Manage client expectations and communications
Required Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome difficult challenges
- Client focus and the ability to effectively communicate with client sponsors
- Ability to travel 20% to 60% for client projects – domestically and / or internationally
- Microsoft cloud strategy and roadmap expertise
Desired Skills
Six or more of the following skills:
- Strong background in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (server and workstations)
- Strong background in Active Directory user and group administration
- Strong background in Group Policy
- Strong background in troubleshooting
- Foundational knowledge of directories (Active Directory, Novell eDirectory, LDAP, Domino, OpenLDAP, etc.)
- Foundational knowledge of scripting languages (batch files, PowerShell, VBScript, etc.)
- Foundational knowledge of Office 365 services
- Foundational knowledge of network technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS
- Hold at least one current IT certification
Additional desired skills:
- Foundational experience with Azure AD Connect
- Foundational knowledge of ADMT
- Foundational knowledge of PKI
- Foundational experience with system auditing and compliance
- Foundational knowledge of SQL
